Hi Dudley, as your humans know, there's a wonderful dog park in Winterset. I believe you've gone for a run there before, maybe more than one (run). Please come back any time!

the world is best experienced with your nose in the wind and your paws in the grass, I promise you’d all be a lot happier.

Hello there Dudley - wanted to let you and your human know that I read pretty much all of this aloud during my sermon today at the Congo church here in Humboldt.

My message included references to balance, priorities, and taking moments of discovery in the natural and human world around us. Thank you, my puppy friend.

I have been asked to do a sermon next week and the scripture is the Jesus with Mary and Martha story from Luke (busy Martha, calm listening Mary).

I may want to quote Dudley for a modern day application:

“But if you join me at least once a day in observation mode, sitting outside - in the glorious natural world - and listen, really listen to the birds, and frogs, and crickets, and smell the trees and grass in all its wonder, and jump in puddles or creeks or lakes, well, I know you’ll be happier.”

Thank you!

P.S. Be sure to tell your Humans to take it easy and be well rested before they start their retreat at Okoboji.

Thank you Dudley for the information on what your wants and needs are. And even through email. You write beautifully. You are indeed a very talented dog. It must have rubbed off from your Humans??? Have a great day Dudley and pass it on to Julie and Richard.
